It was a packed house at the Barnato Lounge in Omaha, NE last night when Hinder came to town with support from twin city rockers Strange Daze. The drinks were flowing, heads banging and windows shaking. Not long after the new millennium a new American Rock band came to light by the name of 'Hinder' from Oklahoma City, OK. Starting in 2001, Hinder hit the stage, and by 2005 was all OVER the radio waves becoming quite a known name all over the country. Last night the group made a stop in Omaha, NE to rock one of Nebraska most intimate music venues the Barnato Lounge.

Strange Daze comes to us from one of the best music meccas in the country Minneapolis, MN. Debuting in the mid-2000s, Strange Daze released their first national album titled 'Shine Through' in 2013, and 2022 releasing their self-titled album 'Strange Daze'. If you're a hard rocker, this band needs to be on your playlist. Their set started early which excitedly caught everyone off guard. They came out cranking kicking off their set with 'Shame On Me' followed by 'Soul River' and 'Little Angel' off their 2022 self-titled album eventually transitioning to 'Real Me', 'Anymore', 'Beautiful',' This Time', 'The Core' and 'Satellite Soul' off their 2022 self-titled record. Strange Dayze's tight harmonies, powerful vocals, and passionate lyrics hit hard. It was a seamless set raising the bar for the night and setting the tone. It felt like they just didn't have enough time ; ) and we know we're not the only ones that felt like we could have used more! Talk about a good problem. Follow the guys on social media and stream their music on Apple Music and Spotify. Add this band to your playlist, follow them on their social media, and most definitely catch these Twin City rockers when they come through your town.

It happened. We finally made it to a Hinder show and boy was it a glass full of whiskey drinkin' hell of a time. Our only regret? Not getting to share a round with the boys ourselves. What started as a small band with a 4-track demo blossomed into one of the most well-known names in rock for millennials such as myself. As you'd imagine a band that sold over 10 million records worldwide has plenty of well-known tracks. Hinder has toured extensively throughout the years sharing the stage with the likes of DisturbedNickelbackPapa RoachSeetherStained, and many many more. Last night's set was jam-packed and filled with a nostalgic plethora of Hinder favorites from 4 different albums including: 'Up All Night', 'Use Me', and 'Without You' from 2008's 'Take It To The Limit', 'How Long', 'Better Than Me', 'Lips of An Angel', and 'Get Stoned' from 2005's record 'Extreme Behavior', 'Intoxicated' off of 2015's 'When The Smoke Clears' album, 'What Ya Gonna Do', '2 Sides of Me', and 'All American Nightmare' off of 2010's 'All American Nightmare', 'King of The Let Down' and Bring Me Back To Life' off of Hinders last album in 2017 'The Reign' and 2019's single 'Life In The Fast Lane'. It has been a minute since the band released an album but have no fear as 2024 looks promising for a new record from the band following the wrap of this tour. It was a nostalgic night for all and many of those in attendance have had to see the band upwards of 7 times and for good reason, it's a kick-ass time. Hinder continues the last leg of their tour with stops in North Dakota, Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota and finally wrapping up next week on February 3rd at the Q & Z Expo Center in Ringle, WI. For all of the upcoming tour dates and ticket information click HEREMake sure to follow everything Hinder online via their social media and grab a ticket when the guys make a stop close to you.
